As the coexistence of digital technology within society becomes ever more ubiquitous, and our everyday experiences are not as we’ve ever known them, it is unsurprising that business too is not as we know it! With dynamic digital evolution and the rise of user-generated and co-created content, it is evident that business today requires change – in our strategies, practices and ethos.

David Roche is president of hotels.com® Worldwide and Venere.com™, overseeing the two brands’ more than 40 points of sale globally. Roche joined Expedia® in 2003 as senior vice president of hotels.com and Distribution for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Under his leadership, hotels.com achieved significant growth throughout EMEA, while Expedia’s EMEA Distribution expanded significantly between 2003 and 2008. Prior to joining Expedia, Roche founded companies in the marketing and digital media spheres. He most recently worked as business development director for the leading European webcaster RAW Communications, which has since been acquired by Thomson Financial.
